By accessing or purchasing from cargocontainerstore.com (“Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use this Website.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the Website.
2. Products and Orders
We sell new and used shipping containers for storage and related purposes within the United States.
All orders are subject to:
- Product availability
- Payment confirmation
- Order verification
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unavailable inventory.
3. Pricing and Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Shipping is charged as a flat rate of $450 per order and is clearly displayed at checkout before payment.
Applicable taxes (if required by law) are calculated at checkout.
Full payment is required before order processing begins.
4. Order Processing and Shipping
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
Shipping Coverage
We ship to the contiguous United States (48 states) only.
We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.
Delivery Timeline
Estimated delivery time is 5–10 business days after shipment, depending on:
- Delivery location
- Freight scheduling
- Weather conditions
- Other unforeseen transit delays
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed but are provided in good faith.
Shipping Confirmation
Customers receive shipment confirmation with carrier details and estimated delivery timeframe once the order is dispatched.
5. Delivery and Customer Responsibilities
Shipping containers are delivered via licensed and insured freight carriers.
Site Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Adequate access for large trucks or trailers
- A clear, stable, and level unloading area
- No overhead obstructions (power lines, trees, buildings)
- Proper ground reinforcement if required
Failure to meet these conditions may result in:
- Delivery delays
- Rescheduling fees
- Additional charges
6. Unloading Responsibility
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing:
- Containers are delivered on standard freight trucks without hydraulic unloading equipment.
- A crane is required to unload the container.
- The crane is not included in the container price.
- The customer is fully responsible for arranging and paying for unloading equipment (crane, rigger, or alternative equipment such as ConFoot legs).
Failure to arrange proper unloading equipment may result in refusal of delivery and additional fees.
7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the container has not been scheduled, loaded, or dispatched.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible or may incur additional fees.
8. Returns and Refunds
Due to the size and freight logistics involved, returns are limited.
Returns are accepted only if:
- The wrong container was delivered, or
- The container arrives damaged or defective due to shipping or manufacturing issues
Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery and must include:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the issue
- Written explanation
Non-Returnable Items
The following are non-returnable:
- Custom-modified containers
- Altered or relocated containers
- “As-is” or clearance items
- Containers damaged after delivery
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued within 7–10 business days after inspection.
Refunds may be adjusted for:
- Return freight costs
- Administrative or restocking fees
- Damage or misuse
Customers will be notified of any deductions before processing.
9. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your container arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us immediately.
We will coordinate directly with the freight carrier to resolve the issue, including repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.
10. Website Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful purposes
- Submit false or misleading information
- Attempt to interfere with Website security
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
11. Privacy
Your use of this Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
We implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect customer data.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, weather, or events beyond our control.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the purchased product.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Carrier disruptions
- Government actions
- Labor disputes
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States.
